Integration with Oracle Sales Cloud

Movintracks is the first proximity campaign manager to achieve Gold Partner status in the Oracle Partner Network (OPN).

This section does not explain the integration procedure. This information will be provided in the Oracle Marketplace.
This section explains the entities you can use in Movintracks to interoperate with Oracle Sales Cloud.

Find the Movintracks Connector for Beacons in the Oracle Marketplace and click on Get App. You will receive detailed instructions that will help you set-up your instance.

If you have an Oracle Sales Cloud account, you can enable certain features in Movintracks that will help you benefit from the power of proximity technology in your CRM.
For example, you can add an action of type Sales Cloud Activity. When the campaign launches, context data (campaign, zone, point, beacon IDs and timestamp) will be added as an Activity for the Sales Cloud Contact using the mobile app.

Create Oracle Sales Cloud Activities automatically

Get context information and track user behaviour in your facilities with the new Action Oracle Sales Cloud Activity.

Use your mobile application backend to link a Movintracks Device ID with your Sales Cloud Contact, or input it manually using the Simplified UI or the Desktop UI.

Assuming your Sales Cloud instance is set-up you'll only need to take 2 steps:

  1. Input your Sales Cloud credentials to Movintracks using either the Fusion Apps User endpoint or https://dashboard.movintracks.io.
  2. Create a Movintracks Campaign with an action Oracle Sales Cloud Activity.

Now when user visits a Zone or a Point, Sales Cloud will create automatically an Activity linked to them giving you context information.
